In
case you're holiday
destination on the island is a resort other than Playa del Ingles or
Maspalomas, then these are the places that could be top of your list to
visit. Why? Maspalomas for the beach and Playa del Ingles for the night
life.
Maspalomas
If
you're planning a day on the
beach at Maspalomas, the bus services from most places around the
island will drop you off at "Faro". The word Faro is Spanish for
lighthouse and the stop is by the lighthouse at the beginning of
Maspalomas beach.
First
port of call on the beach -
the small shopping center maybe to stock up with some snacks and
drinks, maybe some more suntan lotion, beach towels ... all available
from around the center there.
Next
walk along the beach for
around 15-20 minutes and you pass by beach bars/huts, each are
numbered. Stop when you get to bar number 7 which is in the middle of
the gay beach.
Playa
del Ingles
Really
nothing to do or see
around the resort by day but by night, the best place to head for is
the Yumbo shopping center - a commercial center full of shops, bars,
restaurants and a couple of night clubs so ideal too enjoy the night
